Captstone I - Strategic Design and Management Studio, 2025
A sensory-based belonging system designed for students in shared study spaces, developed through primary research, user testing, and iterative prototyping. Identified the "arrival moment" as the most emotionally fragile point in a student's spatial experience, then designed a six-object kit (air plant, natural stone, essential oil roll-ons, worry stone, calming roll-on, diffuser set) paired with a four-step ritual guidebook. Thinking evolved from product to ritual system, grounded in principles of micro-nature, sensory clarity, and culture-relevant warmth. Final concept bridges emotional well-being design, service experience, and physical product strategy.
